The High-Performance Committee has established the schedule for the High-Performance activities for the 2016 season.

All players who wish to be considered for the Baseball BC High-Performance teams including the Selects program (17U),  Pacific Northwest Championship (17U, 16U, 15U), or the Northwest Futures Tournament (15U), must attend one of the ID camps and be evaluated as well as attend one of the Provincial Camps.

Important note:  Any Grade 10 &/or Grade 11 athlete trying out for the 17U Selects &/or 17U PNC Team are to attend the 17U Select Open ID camp on Fri. June 10th; otherwise, all other athletes trying out for any High Performance programming below 17U must attend one of the  Gr 8-10 Open ID camps..

For players that are interested in trying out for the Selects program (17U), they must attend the Open Selects ID Tryout Camp that will be held in the Lower Mainland (Coquitlam) on June 10th - noon at Mundy Park.   The reason the Committee has implemented this tryout ID camp is to give all players in the Province the same opportunity to be evaluated on their skills.   Immediately following the Open ID tryout Camp, the coaching staff of the Selects team will select the players who will be invited to attend the Team BC Provincial Selection Camp that will be held in the Lower Mainland from July 11th thru July 14th from 9AM to 9PM at Whalley Stadium Park in Surrey.  After this camp is completed, the twenty players, plus alternates, will be announced that will form the Team BC team that will complete in the Canada Cup in Fort McMurray, AB August 3th through 8th. .

Players 16U & 15U that want to try out for the other Provincial teams (Pacific Northwest Championship, and Northwest Futures Tournament), must attend one of the Open ID Camps that are being held in the following locations:.

In the case of the Futures Tryouts in September...an athlete will have needed to attend the Prospects Camp July 5-7th through an invite.

Please check the schedule below for the dates and locations..

The various High-Performance open identification camps are held to allow all of the players that are interested, to be evaluated using the criteria that are used by college recruiters and Major League Baseball in evaluating the talent of players.   These camps are staffed by Baseball B.C. staff and senior coaching staff that work with MLB teams.
