BC Selects Female Baseball Program Announcement and Information


Baseball BC is pleased to announce that its 20U (Midget) Division now has 2 coaches in place for the 2014 season.

The BC Selects 20U (Midget) Team will be led by Ed Desjardins & Byron Miki (Kelowna, BC).  These two gentleman have been involved with female baseball for many years and have experienced and grown as managers & coaches while creating and helping launch the Okanagan Halos Girls Baseball Team.

Further Coach announcements for the BC Selects 20U (Midget) Team may be announced as the season unfolds.

The BC Selects 20U (Midget) team will remain practicing with the BC Selects 16U (Bantam) team for the time being to allow for continued development for all of the girls.

Another exciting note is that this BC Selects 20U (Midget) Team will be entering into the Ross Tournament scheduled for May 15th to 19th at Unwin Park in Surrey…  More info to come from Ed, Byron and the yet to be appointed team parent… 

As the tournament entry must be registered soon, please respond to coach Ed & Byron ASAP with your availability for this event.

    • Saturday April 5th in Burnaby at Kensington Park #1 diamond – 11am to 2pm

    • Monday April 7th in Burnaby at Kensington Park #1 diamond – 6pm to 8pm

    • Ross Tournament May 15th to 19th in Surrey
